Contract Administrator
 
Stellar reputation in the market on delivering quality mid/ high rise projects throughout Melbourne, this established head contractor is actively looking to hire an experienced Contract Administrator. Ideal CA will have delivered projects up to or above circa $40m
 
Currently delivering 15 live projects, at different stages, across Melbourne and with a very healthy pipeline going well into the last quarter of 2018, they now seek to hire proven CA’s with a reputation on delivery.
 
Due to this unprecedented growth, they are now building up their CA resource capabilities in their Melbourne office.
 
This unique opportunity will fast track your career to Project Manager.  Ideal CA will have delivered Melbourne projects to the value of circa $40m from inception to completion and eager to develop career within an organisation who invest time and money in development of their teams.

As an experienced Contract Administrator, you will have experience in the following:
 

  • Inviting and processing tenders.
  • Preparing contract documents for execution.
  • Administrating change control procedures.
  • Seeking instructions from the client in relation to the contract.
  • Issuing instructions such as variations, or relating to prime cost sums or making good defects.
  • Considering claims.
  • Participating in construction progress meetings.
  • Preparing and issuing construction progress reports.
  • Co-ordinating and instructing site inspectors.
  • Agreeing commissioning and testing procedures.
  • Agreeing defects reporting procedures.
  • Ensuring that project documentation is issued to the client.
  • Issuing certificates of practical completion and interim certificates.
  • Collating and issuing schedules of defects.
  • Issuing the certificate of making good defects.
  • Issuing the final certificate.
  • Construction qualified degree
