About the business

We are a dynamic firm of Consulting Surveyors based in Prospect (5km Northof the Adelaide CBD). The  company has been successfully  providing surveying services to the community, industry  and Government sectors for over 50 years. Our work comprises an exciting mix of both urban and rural projects.

About the role

We have a permanent full time position for an experienced surveyor or LIcensed Surveyor to lead  a survey team and supervise both Cadastral and Engineering projects. 

The successful candidate would be able to operate autonomously and apply lateral thinking to a range of project roles. 

The position reports to the Directors and offers scope for progression in the firm to the right candidate.

The firm will provide a mobile phone and laptop computer as well as other bonuses based on performance.

Some intrastate overnight travel would be required from time  to time, generally between Monday - Friday.

Skills and experience

Candidates should hold formal qualifications in surveying (Diploma / Bachelor Degree) and have experience in the performance of leading field crews, undertaking survey calculations and associated plan preparation.

Knowledge and competence with CAD packages would be required and experience with Liscad and Autocad would be desirable.

Experience in a consulting role would be highly regarded including good personal communication skills and  familiarity with the South Australian Development Act.

A Class 1 Driver's Licence would be required.  The following certificates are desirable but can be undertaken after commencement; Construction Industry White Card, Workzone Traffic Management, National Police Clearance.
