Are you looking to begin or enhance your career in the drilling industry?
Matrix Drilling is currently looking for a driller's offsider to join our Melbourne team.
We specialise in the provision of safe, high quality and reliable geotechnical and environmental drilling services to the Australian site investigation and resource drilling sectors.
Generous remuneration packages are available for the right candidates, including overtime and overnight allowances.
As a driller's offsider, you will be assisting a driller on daily drilling tasks, as well as the upkeep of vehicles, equipment and tooling. This position should be viewed as a stepping-stone to becoming a licensed driller and will involve being trained in the operation and maintenance of multiple drilling rigs and associated equipment.
A positive, solutions-orientated attitude towards conducting your work and yourself - above and beyond our clients' expectations - is mandatory.
**THIS IS NOT A FIFO POSITION**
The position is based in Metropolitan Melbourne, Monday to Friday. From time to time you will be expected to work in regional locations, on weekends, and/or night-shift.
To be considered for this position you MUST have, as a minimum:
- MR or HR Truck Driver's License; and
- OHS Construction 'White' Card (or interstate equivalent).
