A growing family based company, is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and energetic Project Supervisor to join our close knit team working from our location in the eastern suburbs. My client is a team of 11 staff that are passionate about their range of industrial pipework and air compressor equipment operating since 1993. We are renowned for our experience, expertise and personalised best practice solutions and our team are trained and experienced in design, specification and hands-on installation of compressed air systems.
We are looking for an experienced Project Supervisor to manage organization of installation projects. Project supervisor responsibilities include delivering every project on time, within budget and scope. The successful candidate should have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis. Any hands on practical or mechanical experience would be invaluable.
As the Project supervisor you are skilled at getting the best out of the people and projects that you oversee, you thrive when planning projects and working with clients to achieve an excellent outcome.
Responsibilities:
To manage all aspects of delivering installation projects handed over by the sales team to project completion and sign-off. This involves scheduling projects with available sub-contractors, materials and equipment, coordinating site inductions and the management of all project changes/variations.
Conduct risk management reviews to minimize project risks and measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
Requirements:
Proven project supervision experience delivering projects on time and on budget combined with a solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience. You require xcellent communication and solid organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
Construction Industry experience, good people management, sound conflict resolution skills, proficient computer skills, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
The successful candidate will show a commitment to reflect the company’s values and behaviours, be a motivated, positive, neatly presented, well-mannered and hardworking individual who will have excellent communication skills, show a willingness to learn and have the ability to organise and prioritise their own workload while supervising a small team.
