Stabilised Pavements Group is focused on delivering pavement construction, rehabilitation and maintenance solutions that are cost effective, sound in design to deliver longevity and environmental sustainability.

Stabilised Pavements of Australia’s Head Office is based on the Central Coast, New South Wales with additional operations located in Melbourne, Brisbane, Townsville and Perth.  We are currently seeking an experienced Foreman for our Craigieburn depot in Victoria.

The Foreman is expected to provide leadership and is responsible for, although not limited to: supervising & management of team and resources, ensuring the safety of crew members, following WHS guidelines, planning & scheduling, employee relations, productivity of crew members & quality control and administration.  The foreman is the key interface in the relationships between the company, other contractors, and the client. 

Applicants will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes for consideration of their application:

Minimum Requirements are:

  • Demonstrated experience in road and earthworks, with a preference for stabilisation experience;
  • Current unrestricted Class C Australian Drivers Licence (HC licence is preferred);
  • Trade Certificate – Certificate 1V (Cert IV - Civil Construction) – (Preferred)

  • Ability to work unsupervised with experience managing people, projects and materials;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective and productive working relationships;
  • Recognising, addressing and resolving issues/problems among/between crew members;
  • Maintaining work standards and outlining behavioural expectations to ensure crew morale and productivity;
  • Applying the principles of workplace respect and adherence to all policies;
  • A commitment to and maintaining safe work practices;
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills along with a team oriented outlook.
  • Be available to travel throughout Victoria, and possibly interstate, as required.
