Monica Clare Recruitment is proud to partner with a well known Newcastle business that is experiencing strong growth and has a rare opening for two Client Side Project Managers to join their cohesive team. These roles will be responsible for managing construction and refurbishment projects (up to $25m) from inception to handover across a diverse range of industries including educational facilities, commercial office buildings and residential properties.
Key responsibilities of the roles include:
- Coordinating of all project phases - inception to handover
- Maintaining a comprehensive working knowledge of the head contract and ensuring its timely/efficient completion
- Undertaking Quality Control, site inspections and reporting
- Managing and representing all stakeholders
- Preparing high level feasibility studies for proposed property developments
- Coordinating full construction documentation and presentation renders in consultation with sub contract consultants
- Preparing tenders for Building and Construction projects
- Preparing project management programs
- Ensuring projects are delivered to program and budget while preparing monthly costs and program reports
- Providing WH&S training and conducting risk assessments
Our client is looking for accomplished, commercially minded Project Managers that are experienced in above-ground building projects with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach.

To be considered for the role, it is essential that you hold:
- Bachelor Degree in Construction Management
- Minimum 8 years of experience managing building projects either with a project management consultancy or a building contractor
- Sound understanding of contract administration
- Demonstrated ability to prepare project budgets, quotations, tenders and contractual documentation
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders
- Excellent communicator and high level oral and written communication skills
- Current Class C driver's licence.
