BGC Contracting is currently seeking a HSE Advisor for BGC Karratha Branch.
The HSE Advisor reports directly to the Branch Area Manager and is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the implementation of the Health, Safety and Environment Management System at the Branch.
You will provide leadership in HSE related matters, including integration and application of TRISAFE, and will actively coach workers and the management team to promote Thriving Health and Safety culture on site.
The successful candidate will require tertiary qualifications in OHS along with previous experience in a HSE role in the construction industry. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desired. They will work autonomously and proactively participate in project teams. Formal training in Root Cause Analysis tools (eg TapRoot, ICAM) is preferred but not essential.
This position is based in Karratha, therefore FIFO or camp accommodation is not provided.
