The Company
Rusca Bros Services is an established provider of specialised services to industry. The core business is Civil Construction but in recent years has diversified into Waste Management, Mining and Logistics. Rusca Bros Services has a substantial order book for civil projects in the renewables sector for the foreseeable future and to compliment this business unit has established a Solar Division
The Role
Rusca Bros Services are seeking a Divisional Manager to manage this business unit. The unit will be a function of the Civil Business but will focus on Solar Piling and Mechanical Installation managing projects from tender stage through to delivery spanning across QLD, NSW and Victoria.
You will be responsible for building a team around you that can manage all aspects of the Piling and Mechanical Installation scope.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparation of Estimates and Tenders for Piling and Mechanical Installations with a specific focus on technical direction, contract qualification and assumptions.
- Negotiation of contracts and conditions
- Resource selection & planning and programming of successful tenders.
- Facilitate compliance with relevant specification and site requirements
- Identification and resolution of issues arising throughout project delivery, with a particular focus on specialised knowledge of piling and mechanical installations and engineered solutions
- Maintain production and costing data and present risk and opportunity analysis.
- Implement and maintain meticulous Health and Safety Performance across all aspects of work.
Skills & experience
- Full Australian work rights
- Extensive demonstratable technical experience in this discipline.
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical and piling installation techniques
- Minimum of 4 years managerial experience in a similar role
- Preferably degree qualified in mechanical, structural or civil engineering
- Willing to travel frequently
- Strong commercial acumen and reporting skills.
