Construction HSE Advisor 
Contract position based on the North Shore 

This well regarded national builder contractor has an immediate requirement for an OHS Advisor on a contract basis. This role will be based on site on a large residential development that is coming out of the ground now on the North Shore.    
  
Reporting to and working along-side the Site Manager you will be responsible for the following;

• Organising pre site safety meeting
• Checking and monitoring Safe Work Method Statement
• Ensuring site safety procedures and policies are being adhered to correctly
• Conducting site inductions
• Organising and conducting tool box talks
• Performing weekly safety report for the site
• Risk assessments
• Maintaining safety files
• Conducting  formal incident investigations
• Monitoring subcontractors, suppliers, consultants activities
• Understand and apply general legislative EHS requirements
• Conducting formal inspections of workplace and task.

To be suitable for this position it is expected that candidates will have a several years experience working in an OHS capacity for building contractors in Australia. You will be experienced in managing OHS policies on new-building projects over $30m in value. You will possess relevant construction industry safety qualifications with a Cert IV in OH&S an ideal.
