Meridian Homes is seeking a qualified Site Supervisor with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the project home industry for an immediate start. You will be reporting to the Construction Manager located in our Baulkham Hills office. The right candidate will join our small, but strong, construction team and will manage an average of 20 projects covering all aspects of the build from excavation to handover currently within the North-West area (but not limited to).
Job tasks and responsibilities
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Managing of projects through all construction phases.
- Processing projects using Onsite Companion software.
- Initiate action and processes to prevent the occurrence of unsafe incidents;
- Identify, address and record any safety issues;
- Liaising with the Commercial Team to assist in procuring necessary trades & suppliers.
- Manage the defect liability period and limit through identification, and rectification of defects during construction phase.
Skills and experience
Our ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of home building and demonstrate:
- Excellent communication & problem solving skills.
- Positive rapport with trades and clients.
- Professional & self-driven approach to work.
- Great at prioritising and time-management.
- Thorough understanding of construction codes.
- Tertiary education in construction related course.
- Full Driver's License.
- Experience using Onsite Companion would be an advantage.
