About the Company and Role:
Our client is a family owned and operated business that has been within the Electrical Industry for over 50 years and is seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to join their team.
Reporting to the Manager’s, you may have come straight out of your studies being focused around Occupational Health and Safety/ HSE as well as Quality Assurance.
You will be working closely with the Director and other managers within the business, completing site visits within the construction and electrical industry, completing site reviews, OH&S auditing and preparing and completing Documents for site requirements.
The position also encompasses office duties and administration tasks, however the emphasis with be around Quality Assurance and Occupational Health and Safety Environment, risk assessments along with planning and implantation
Ideal Attributes:
- Passion for HSEQ
- Experience in Audits and Quality Management
- Relevant previous experience
- Cert IV in Occupational Health & Safety
- Strong Computer, Report Writing and Communication skills
- Development of Procurers and ITP’s
- Exceptional Time Management and Organisational skills
- Solid understanding of relevant State Legislation
- Relevant Qualification’s
- Working within a small team environment you will be self-driven individual

Roles and Responsibilities:
Working across numerous Construction projects throughout Australia and reporting directly to the Manager/s, some of your day to day duties will consist of the following but not limited to:
- Strong Focus on Quality control and Auditing
- Maintaining a credited HSE system (Myosh)
- Monitor compliance to legal requirements
- Communicate best HSEQ practices to staff, contractors and subcontractors
- Undertake risk assessments, SWMS, audits and Incident Investigations
- Enhance and promote safety culture
- Develop and maintain HSEQ procedures
- Develop HSEQ internal audits, supplier audits and inspections
- Manage HSEQ non conformance's and corrective actions
- Safety Support On-site
- Provide support in the development of HSEQ Governance documentation
