Your new company
My client is a family run construction business who have established themselves as an innovative builder developer, they specialize on delivering Luxury Townhouses, Apartments and Commercial projects. Servicing a loyal client base and working on their own developments, they are looking for a Site Manager to join their growing team to initially finish off a Townhouse development and to manage an Office project (circa $10M). This certain individual will have the ambition to contribute to the business growth and eventually take the position of Construction Manager.
Your new role
You will be responsible for:
- Planning and sequencing site operations
- Coordinating subcontractors
- Overseeing material deliveries
- Liaising with Architects, Surveyors, services and municipal authorities as required.
- Collecting all delivery dockets and Subcontractor invoices and transmit to office.
- Monitor all works to ensure requirements of the drawings and specifications are met.
What you'll need to succeed
- A proven track record in delivering high end, bespoke specification projects in a Site Manager role, whether Commercial or Residential projects specifically within Melbourne.
- Trade qualified or tertiary qualification relevant to construction.
- 5+ year’s industry experience within a Site Manager/Supervisor role.
- The ambition to commit to the company for a long period of time on their up and coming projects with longevity on their resume.
- An attitude which reflects our client’s culture which is positive and solutions focused.
- Outstanding presentation, leadership and communication skills.
- The ability to work autonomously on site.
- Applicants with no local construction experience will not be considered for this role.
