The Company
 
My client are a national, medium size home builder, established in three states – NSW being their newest state which set up about 3 years ago. They pride themselves in building for themselves and for some of the best developers in the industry. They deliver a diverse portfolio of projects from single / double storey house and land packages, townhouses, medium density and units focusing on North West and South West Sydney.
 
The Role
 
On a day to day basis you will work alongside of a small team of 4 under the guidance of the Drafting Manager, documenting, problem solving, gain experience on-site, meet with consultants and document residential projects.
 
Flexible working is also offered but typically working day is 8.30am – 5.00pm (1-hour lunch).
 
Typical duties to include:
 

• Preparation of DA/CC documentation packages with a high attention to detail
• Execute precise construction detail drawings
• Review drawings and work closely with other team members
• Master drawing documentation 
• Liaise with external consultants

 
Essential Skills & Experience

• ArchiCAD proficient is a MUST
• Minimum of 3 years practical experience with a Project Home Builder
• Proven knowledge on the construction process of building a home
• Sound knowledge of BCA codes and regulations 
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strength in construction documentation and detailing
• Ability to work under pressure and use intuitive / be proactive

 
On Offer
 
This is a permanent opportunity to work for one the leading home builders in Sydney. Base salary negotiable depending on experience; $70,000 - $90,000 + Super.
