We are a privately owned and operated business in the construction, manufacturing and engineering sectors. We specialise in structural steel fabrication for industrial and commercial construction projects with a project value range of up to $5MIL.
We have a position available for an enthusiastic person interested in a structural steel estimating role.
In your role as estimator, you will be responsible for completing structural steel tenders, whilst continually identifying and implementing business improvement initiatives in this area. The candidate will need to demonstrate a level of experience required to confidently fulfil this role.
To be considered for this position you need to be able to demonstrate:
- capacity to work efficiently, smartly and be innovative
- team player able to get along with colleagues
- organised, focused and clear thinking
- basic computer literacy
- ability to interpret technical drawings
You will be involved in the following tasks:
- receive and process tender enquiries
- prioritise requests to quote in conjunction with management
- complete full take off
- complete quote submission
