Lendlease’s Engineering business is currently enjoying significant growth, with major projects such as WestConnex 3A ramping up, and existing projects in delivery, including NorthConnex, The Northern Rd, and Garden Island Upgrade. Based in Sydney, we are seeking a Senior Cost Planner to bring commercial rigour to our projects in design and delivery.
As a Senior Cost Planner, you will develop accurate and detailed cost plans during the design phase of our projects, to ensure project budgets are met and measure and quantify design solutions. A key focus of the role will be participation in the value engineering process throughout the design phase, providing cost planning advice to inform decision-making and reporting of the cost effects of design solutions and changes. The role will also require you to develop and present informative, and accurate cost planning reports for key stakeholders within the business.
Ideally you will have relevant qualifications and significant experience in the fields of Cost Planning, Estimating, Quantity Surveying or a similar discipline within the construction and infrastructure sector. You will have been exposed to large, and complex projects gaining pre-contract and post-contract experience in cost planning, and providing cost advice to influence design and effectively manage project budgets. You will be an effective communicator and collaborator, with strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
