About the role

 

 

Laing O’Rourke are recruiting for an experienced Project Planner (Rail) to work on a major infrastructure project based in Sydney, NSW.

 

 

Key responsibilities

 

 

Reporting to the Senior Project Planner, a key focus of your role will be to prepare and assess detailed project plans for all stages and facets of the project to help deliver project outcomes on time.

You will perform Critical Path analysis to identify issues, risks and areas requiring attention and communicate it to Project Leader/Planning Manager along with supporting the development of Work Breakdown Structure as per project/client requirements.

 

 

You will have

 

 

You will hold a degree qualification in Civil Engineering along with experience in a similar role. Essential to this role will be your experience working on Rail projects. You will demonstrate strong computer literacy skills with proficiency in the use of Primavera P6 and MS Project in order to create programmes and update progress.

 

You will have excellent communication skills and strong project controls and planning skills to deal with a fast paced environment.
