In this role you will need to:
- Ensure that the Quality Management System (QMS) and continuous improvement processes are applied across all sites.
- Drive uncompromising Quality standards in relation to all site based processes
- Ensure the principles of functional excellence underpin all Regional activities
You will lead a small team of QA Officers spread throughout the region, as well as having hands-on responsibility for quality at the Ipswich site, where ideally you will be based, however we would consider Rockhampton or Townsville based candidates
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and influence behaviours at all levels of the business to deliver quality objectives
- Driving development and rollout of shop floor training programs
- Sharing quality best practice across all operations
- Supporting all site based QA Officers in the performance of their duties
- Assisting with preparation for and closeout of external audits
Skills and Experience:
- You will be an experience Quality professional, preferably with auditing qualifications
- Drive and influence behaviours at all levels of the business
- Strong administration and system management skills
- Exposure to concrete and/or aggregates industry would be an advantage
- Ideally you will be familiar with applicable standards and road authority specifications
