Our Client is one of Australia's Premier Commercial Project Builders having a successful track record of experience spanning over 30 years.
Due to continued growth in market share, they seek to appoint the following roles to join their project management team based in Sydney.
Chief Estimator: RSCE784
Your main duties will be to prepare, negotiate and review various company contracts, including purchases, sales, and business partnerships. Ultimately, you should ensure all contracts conform to legislative requirements and adhere to company standards.
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven work experience as an Estimator/QS in the Commercial Construction industry
- Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts in Australia
- Familiarity with Cubit, Cost X or similar
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners
Project Manager: RSPM785
You will report to a National Director, and provide leadership and mentorship to your nominated construction team and be responsible for the ongoing management and maintenance of their client base in Sydney and oversee all construction based activities on your nominated projects.
The successful applicant will have:
- Extensive experience in managing interior fit-out projects.
- Proficiency in maintaining key client relationships.
- Experience managing projects over $10m
- Advanced ability to plan, manage and deliver numerous projects.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated project management skills, effective negotiation skills, and decision-making abilities
Contracts Administrator: RSCA786
You will be required to manage the administrative and contractual duties of the allocated projects and support the wider project team. This includes preparing contracts for subcontractors, identifying the scope of works, amending discrepancies and administrative support for the Project Management Team
The successful applicant will have:
- Tertiary qualification, preferably in Building or Engineering or Trade qualification with further relevant education.
- Three years experience in a similar role or contract administration
- Professional presentation
- Proactive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
