Due to continued growth and expansion (though our enviable track record and impressive list of reference-able clients), Meridian are seeking to appoint experienced Site Supervisor to deliver a commercial project in Wollongong.
Meridian Construction Services is a highly regarded commercial construction company, headquartered in Sydney (Banskia). We deliver quality projects throughout NSW. We specialise in construction, fit-out and refurbishment, often in a live environment. Established for over 20 years, we have a proven track record in the delivery of outstanding projects to a range of different client industries. We are most well-known for our high quality projects in the Hospitality and Education sectors and are experienced in other commercial and industrial arenas as well.
To be considered for these roles you must be able to meet the following selection criteria:
· Experience in managing site safety, including maintaining project safety records
· Experience in managing day-to-day activities on-site including supervision and direction of sub-contractors and direct staff
· Experience in managing the site building program and maintaining adherence to such programs
· Be able to effectively communicate with the Project Manager so as to ensure the effective and efficient running of your project timing, cost, budget and quality
· Be conscious of the fact that you are the face of the company on-site, and to ensure that disruption to the client's core business activities is kept to a minimum
· You should possess a trade or building-related qualification
· You will have 5+ years experience in supervising successful commercial projects
· You will have good communication skills, verbally and in writing
