An amazing opportunity has arisen with a client of mine for an experienced Project Manager
Company
My client are Australia's largest apartment developer and also the country's biggest residential home builder, with exciting projects throughout Australia and New South Wales they have a strong status within the construction industry.
Role
Then ideal applicant will be working alongside another Senior Level PM reporting to the Director of Construction/Head of Project Management.
As Project Manager you will enjoy the diversity of working with their key clients across multiple projects, with a focus upon high rise residential.
With each project, you will lead, plan, resource, drive and control project delivery, developing the construction strategy and undertaking effective risk analysis to mitigate project risks.
Have a strong knowledge in dealing with building approvals
Ultimately, you will lead and motivate a team, including partnering with subcontractors, to achieve flawless execution of projects within the contractual conditions, time frames, scope and budget.
You will enjoy full project ownership, encouragement to share your ideas and shape the team and access to a hands-on leadership team who encourage and recognise collaboration, excellence and innovative thinking.

Candidate
- At least 8 years experience as a Project Manager of high rise residential projects.
- Proven ability and experience in managing project budgets and taking full ownership of project cost control
- Have a strong knowledge in dealing with building approvals
- A proven track record of achieving projects within time frames and under budget
- Sound working knowledge of project management methodologies
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- A high regard for safety and commitment to ensuring the health and safety of site staff throughout the project
- Sees suppliers and subcontractors as genuine business partners, an essential part of achieving success
- Proficiency in relevant software packages (e.g. Buildtools, Jobpac, Microsoft Project - or similar) a bonus
- Australian resident qualified to work in Australia (Minimum of 4 years Sydney experience)
