As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for:
Buildability and design ambiguity reviews: review construction drawings and technical specifications;
• Generate RFI and manage the RFI process including liaison with client’s design consultants;
• Manage the shop drawing process, including reviewing and commenting on adequacy of shop drawings;
• Attendance at client design/RFI meetings;
• Assist in developing and/or reviewing scopes of work under the direction of the Contract Manager;
• Assist the Contract Manager in variation claims assessments;
• Review and approve subcontractor Inspection and Test Plans;
• Assist the site manager in the technical co-ordination of subcontract works;
• Quality Management including witnessing, site inspections, site supervision and subcontractor compliance assessments and quality record keeping;
• Checking technical designs and drawings and ensuring that they are followed correctly

Requirements:
- Degree qualified as a Civil Engineer, Construction Management, or equivalent
- 2+ years experience in civil infrastructure construction, ideally with a Tier 3 or Tier 2 contractor
- Effective communications skills and sub-contractor management
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
