Customer Service Manager

Monier is a leading manufacturer and supplier of roof tiles across Australia and New Zealand. We have operated for over 100 years and have a proud history and reputation in producing quality tiles and making homes beautiful.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced individual to join our Rosehill team as Customer Service Manager. Reporting to the General Manager NSW and managing a team of 9, this role is responsible for ensuring the Customer Service function delivers a quality service to internal and external stakeholders whilst driving opportunities to implement improvements that support business objectives.

In this role, your core responsibilities will include -

  • Managing and supporting the team’s performance to ensure the function delivers in line with set KPIs.
  • Drive and support the implementation of customer service digital platforms
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships and explore innovative ways to improve the functions performance and gain efficiencies.
  • Work closely with selection centres to ensure the team are equipped with relevant knowledge and support to deliver quality service to end consumer
  • Developing and implementing a clear customer service vision and goals and aligning the team and all stakeholders
  • Regular reporting on customer service activity and identify opportunities to close performance gaps or drive operational improvements.
  • Provide strong coaching and leadership to the team to ensure optimum performance levels achieved and develop and implement a plan to cross skill and grow team member capabilities to support business goals.

To be successful in this role you will have –

  • Previous Customer Service leadership experience
  • Previous construction or building industry experience preferred but not essential
  • Enjoy a role that combines both strategic elements with hands on responsibilities
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to engage and align a range of different stakeholders towards a common goal
  • The ability to exercise good judgement in resolving customer service matters and seeing opportunities that could drive operational improvements
  • Experience in understanding business results and determining appropriate action to improve outcomes/performance
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate a team to deliver and achieve
