Truck Driver / Excavator Operator

Civilcraft is a privately owned, independent small to medium civil engineering firm based in Sydney. We specialise in the construction & maintenance of quality pavements and infrastructure services in challenging and niche environments such as airports, ports, botanical parklands and various road networks.

Civilcraft holds and maintains various Federal, State & local government accreditations and pre-qualification's so we are looking for someone committed to adhering,implementing and maintaining these high standards.

Truck Driving Duties will include:

• Daily pre-start and general truck maintenance.
• Drive tipper truck Cifloat combination to and from sites.
• Ability to safely and correctly load machinery and float to sites.
• Tipper trucks up to Bogie size.

Excavator Operation Duties will include:

• Daily pre-start and machine general maintenance.
• Operating 1.7t, 3.5t, 5t excavator & Positrack.
• General earthworks, site cleans, footings, slab and driveway preps.
• Hammering, asphalt profiling attachments.

The ideal candidates will need to have the following:

• Current CV.
• 2 Recent work references.
• 5 years experience.
• Driving record & police background check.
• Drug and alcohol testing required for access to sites.
• ASIC, MSIC pass if available.
• Excellent communication and customer skills.
• HR truck licence minimum, (HC preferred), excavator and skidsteer (preferred) tickets and white card.
• Professional and careful approach to work.
• Attention to detail.
• Hands on and flexible approach.
• Work in a team environment and goal driven.
• Must be available to work occasional Saturdays and night works when required.
• Base hourly rate, with penalties and allowances.
