Senior Estimator job with leading Australian Contractor, $140k-$160k, South Melbourne, diverse projects $60m
I am currently partnering with one of Australia's and Melbourne’s most prominent contractors who are specialists across commercial new build, Fit-out and refurbishments up to values in excess of $60m. With a reputation of delivering landmark projects from conception to completion throughout Melbourne, they are now looking to welcome a Senior Estimator to the business that will work closely with the Estimating Manager.
The ideal candidate will be involved in the preparation of tenders on a range of projects including commercial, retail, age care, health and office space construction works.
Your main duties and tasks will include:
- Preparing and submission of competitive tenders
- Measure and price builder's quantities
- Manage tender documentation
- Develop and mentor junior members of staff
- Undertake value engineering and cost saving exercises
- preparation of project budgets and cash flows
- initiating value engineering exercises.
