This National Tier 2 Commercial builder have been a leader in the Construction industry for over 100 years and are currently doing $400M in turnover within Melbourne alone. Their project portfolio is diverse and includes Retail, Residential, Commercial, Health, Education, Community, Hospitality and Aged Care, ensuring you get plenty of exposure. This dynamic and sophisticated construction company pride themselves on supporting one another, working as a team towards a common goal and providing a level of service to their clients that cannot be matched. Due to consistent growth, a position now exists for an experienced Senior Contract Administrator on a permanent basis.
Your new role
- Reporting to an experienced team of Project Managers and Directors
- Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules
- Project claim assistance and external variations
- Review, negotiate and finalise subcontracts
- Manager and track project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claims
- Administer RFI’s to clients, architects and consultants
- Be responsible for a $20M Private School project in this particular instance
What you'll need to succeed
- A degree in Construction Management or similar
- Prior experience within the Melbourne construction market
- Experience in a Contract Administrator position working for a head contractor
- Ideally be experienced on projects in excess of $15M
