Your new company

Our client is a highly regarded building contractor that has gained a reputation for completing high-quality residential construction projects across NSW & ACT.

They are currently looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver a $100M + project.

The successful applicant will be degree qualified (Bachelor of Construction Management ideally) and have extensive experience working as a project manager on sizeable multi-storey residential developments (over $25m) within Australia.

Strong financial acumen and good reporting and forecasting skills are required. Good communication and interpersonal skills are also required as you will be liaising with internal staff, clients and sub-contractors on a regular basis.

We're looking for a hands-on, confident leader and decision maker from a tier 2 or 3 contractor who doesn't mind rolling their sleeves up when required.

Reporting directly to the Construction Manager your responsibilities will include:

Responsible for time and budgeting aspects of the project,
Liaising with clients, consultants and driving the site forward
Manage the program of work to achieve program objectives in accordance with contractual agreements;
Manage and anticipate project changes, adjusting designs, plans and activities accordingly;
Ensure all project deliverables are of acceptable quality in line with contractual agreements
Drive continuous improvement by conducting post-implementation reviews, regular project reviews and communicating best practice;
Manage performance, compliance and allocation of resources and ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
