Due to continued growth we are currently seeking applications from experienced Site Superintendents to join our Operations, Maintenance & Services Division. We are interested in your leadership experience and ability to direct and control minor construction & maintenance activities, provide input to schedules and regularly monitor and review project costs.
You will have an outcome driven approach with the ability to positively influence and motivate your team.
If you are highly motivated, possess demonstrated hands on experience in a SMP or Electrical Superintendent role and enjoy working in a dynamic maintenance and services environment, then this is the opportunity for you.
This is an integral role within the leadership team where you will direct and control maintenance activities to ensure that standards of quality, cost, safety and performance are observed and that time schedules are met.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and control of work crew and Supervisors activities;
- Review and authorise project/shutdown program and completion schedules;
- Determining labour availability and workloads for each work order
- Providing input into methodology reviews and authorising maintenance work packs;
- Review and authorise maintenance/services programme and completion schedule and delegate activities for the day-to-day direction of field schedule requirements;
- Establishing and maintaining effective communications with the Company’s representatives, Business Unit Manager and field staff to ensure close and good working relationships are established and maintained; and
- Ensuring reports are regular and communicated to the Project Manager on all field activities, and construction matters.
About You:
- Previous experience on maintenance and shutdown projects in a similar role is a must!
- Hold a nationally recognised mechanical or electrical trade qualification with a strong heavy industrial background
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with well-developed interpersonal and leadership capability;
- Well established Project Execution knowledge with a strong commitment to zero harm ; and
- A high level of attention to detail and computer literacy.
- Hold a nationally recognised trade qualification with a strong mechanical background
- Section 44 appointed persons
- Front Line Management Certification
- Experience in management across multiple sites
- Proven leadership ability with a very strong commitment to zero harm
- Sound commercial ability in budgets and tendering
- Perth based
