Excavator Operator

Bassett Barks is a locally owned and operated landscape and potting mix business situated in the Glass House Mountains and is looking for a reliable and hardworking 25-ton Excavator Operator for manufacturing our potting mix.

Immediate start:

To successfully secure this opportunity, you must:

• Have at least 5 years’ experience operating excavators
• Be reliable, punctual and self-motivated
• Have a great attitude and strong work ethic
• Be capable and confident in your ability.
• Have relevant excavator qualifications
• Have the ability to move irrigation around on potting mix
• Be able to update and keep correct paperwork etc.
• Have the ability to prioritise and work unsupervised.
• Be able operate excavators in a safe and productive manner
• Qualifications for front end loader, bobcat and forklift would be advantageous
• Have a strong & positive attitude towards safety
• Help contribute to our goals & targets

Remuneration:

Bassett Barks pays above award rates including overtime rates.
