Torque Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced site based HSEQ Officer in Nevertire NSW on a renewable civil construction project.
We are ideally looking for a NSW local based in Nevertire or potential for a Drive in Drive out 3:1 roster.
Our client is well regarded, and people focused striving to create a positive change on the way people view energy, they have recently won a new contract based in and are requiring additions to their team.
The position:
- Offering either 3:1 roster drive in drive out OR Monday-Saturday depending on where you are situated from site

Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake risk assessments across all areas of the business and coordinate implementation of control measures
- Develop and facilitate OHS training as requires
- Be based on the civil site to ensure safety processes are being implemented
- OHS reporting
- Contribute to optimal business performance through the review, development, implementation and maintenance of the safety management system
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure consistent compliance within the operation
- Act in a manner that seeks to enhance the safety culture
- Ensure that the business can operate with confidence accounting for risk by assisting in the coordination and maintenance of the site risk management function, including completion of reviews in a timely manner
- Assisting the site HSEQ Manager, helping with some aspects of admin / inductions
- 6 days per week 10 hour days
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or similar
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment
- 3 years in an HSEQ
- Site based HSEQ experience
- Demonstrated understanding and application or relevant legislation
