As one of Queensland's largest Insurance Repair Specialists, Ambrose Building is seeking dynamic QBCC licensed Building Supervisors to join our team on the Darling Downs as we expand to continue to provide industry leading service to many of Australia's  major  insurers.  Please note this is a new positions.  We have an existing team in place and we require dynamic a Supervisor/Estimator to ensure we provide a superior level of service to both our clients and their customers.

Using industry leading technology you will Assess, Estimate and Supervise Insurance Repairs of all kinds including Water Claims. All of your Contracts and Administration support is coordinated out of Head Office, allowing you to Estimate, Schedule, Supervise and Quality Assure repairs.

Communication, service and quality will all be important to you.  

Our goal is to have you in the field as much as possible, visiting sites and liaising with customers, however there is a necessary office component to the role where you will use our industry leading Repair Management System to schedule your repairs and coordinate trades.

The Role:

• Fulltime position
• Providing coverage for the Darling Downs out of Toowoomba
• Working alongside our established Darling Downs team, lead by our local Building Supervisor
• Reporting directly to our State Construction Manager
• Estimating and managing small, medium and large insurance repairs
• Utilising industry leading technology to deliver exceptional results
• Requires a high level of customer service, communication and computer skills
• Includes an attractive salary, vehicle, fuel card, tablet, phone, uniform and industry based equipment
• Insurance industry training will be provided however previous experience will be advantageous
• Experience in Water Claims will also be a positive

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB:

• A current QBCC Building Supervisor licence (or equivalent)
• A minimum of five years building experience with a Carpentry trade background
• Experience in Estimating, Scheduling and Supervising trades and repairs (insurance related is preferred)
• A working knowledge of the NCC, QBCC Standards and Tolerances and WH&S 
• Excellent communication skills
• High-level computer skills across mobile devices, repair management systems and Microsoft Office suite of programs
• An aptitude for creating, reading and interpreting scopes of work
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure the highest quality of finishes from your trade team
• A proactive nature and be keen to work as a member of highly successful, KPI driven team
• A strong commitment to safety
