Our client is a major civil contractor who have recently won several civil projects across New South Wales and is currently looking for an Environmental Coordinator / Environmental Engineer on one of their Sydney based projects. The typical projects they work on include rail, road and water works. They have a need for an Environmental Coordinator / Environmental Engineer across their projects who has the drive to manage either larger scale works or several smaller civil projects. With an unrivalled ability to deliver major civil infrastructure and a history of successful project delivery across the country this contractor would a great career move to ensure you further develop your career.


Role

Working closely with the Project Managers, Construction Manager and Systems Manager you will take a lead and be the Environmental champion across the projects you work on. Liaising with Engineers and Supervisors ensuring that best practice environmental systems are put in place as the business increases in size. As a growing business you will have the opportunity over time to build a team of people who report to you.

 
To be successful in this role you should have;

• Bachelor in Environmental Engineering or equivalent
• have worked on civil infrastructure projects
• ability to form strong relationships with multifaceted site teams
• excellent communication skills
• strong client relationship skills

Remuneration 

Top base with bonuses and options to go to Environmental Manager. This role is ideally looking for someone who has the drive and enthusiasm to work in a driven civil construction culture.
