Site Manager
Health Project - South Sydney
6 month contact opportunity

Join a well-established third-tier Building and Construction company as a Site Manger on a long-term contract. Located in South Sydney, this $7m Health Care project commences work in July. Reporting to the Project Manager, working within a live environment you will be responsible for the full management of the construction project. Although this is an initial 6 month contract, there is the strong chance of this being extended once this project is completed. My client has a strong pipeline of work across commercial, industrial, education, retail, aged care, and residential so you could be moved onto other projects. 
 
Within this role as a the Site Manager you will be performing the follow duties; Site Establishment, reading and interpretation of plans, management of sub-contractors, a strong focus on OHS management, client liaison and defect management;  
 
To be suitable for this position is it anticipated that you possess the following;

• Will have a Trade / Carpentry background and progressed through to a Site Management position.
• Will have site managed both high value refurbishment projects and also new-build projects with structural elements.
• Will have experience with managing a projects up to $10m as a Number 1.
• Will have Site Managed projects in schools and colleges etc   
• Will be available to commence employment at the start of March
• Happy to take on an on-going contract position and flexible to work weekends.
• Computer literate - Emails and Microsoft Office
