General Foreman
South Sydney - School Project
  
Immediate requirement for a General Foreman to join a leading tier 2 builder to finish off a school project. In this position, reporting to and being supported by the Site Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the construction site. With this your duties and responsibilities will include; 

• Communication and management of sub-contractors and trades 
• Control of OHS on-site 
• Site inductions and toolbox talks
• Reading construction plans and drawings and plan accordingly
• Maintaining a Site-Diary
• Being aware of and helping to push the construction programme 
• Having the ability to manage all sections of the projects; from civils, to structures and eventually the finishes elements of the project. 

 To be suitable for the role it is anticipated that you will possess the following; 

• Ideally a carpentry trade background 
• Will have worked for a recognised builder in Australia on residential or other commercial projects.   
• Available to start immediately and happy to work on a contract basis
