We are currently seeking a Leading Hand to join our client’s team and work on various civil construction projects across Melbourne. Our client is a well-respected civil contractor that has a large amount of projects in the pipeline.

Due to a period of continued growth, we are looking for a professional to join our client’s team on an ongoing contract. The applicant must have previous experience working as a Leading Hand on civil construction projects as well as possessing the ability to operate machinery effectively when required. You must also have the relevant tickets to be able to work on site.

Throughout this role, you will supervise various labourers and sub-contractors on site to ensure work is progressing as planned. It will be your job to forecast, program and schedule all work in order to make sure that projects aren’t going over budget. It will be a requirement of this role for you to liaise with Project Managers, Supervisors, Subcontractors and clients on a range of issues.
