As the Planner within the Operations space, you will manage the Disruption Program and support the Disruption Program Planning Manager with conflict resolution and scenario modelling across the RPV and LXRA Portfolios, including disruption resource planning for bussing, safeworking, and passenger experience contracts.

About the role:


To succeed you will develop successful partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, in order to liaise with and to understand disruption program requirements, opportunities and limitations. Furthermore, this role will see you collaborate with other Rail Infrastructure Managers/operators regarding planned works, particularly where activities are proposed at or across jurisdictional boundaries

Your attention to detail and adherence to reporting protocols will provide the team with critical information to help identify potential issues.

About your experience:

You will be results driven and an effective communicator, with solid experience and achievement in project planning, ideally with Rail Industry experience. This will include demonstrated experience in coordination and implementation of Works Readiness procedures together with sound analytical and time management skills. You will be familiar with Rail Industry requirements and be able to interpret all applicable standards, or have demonstrated experience working on infrastructure projects and have the skills to work with others and facilitate adherence to all relevant requirements. Tertiary qualifications in Planning is desirable.

Additionally, you value the importance of teamwork and of listening, challenging your peers and making a difference. You are confident to bring innovation to the table. You have the agility to engage with a variety of stakeholders at all levels and the ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining focused on excellence. Consultative approaches to providing solutions regarding challenging assignments mixed with exceptional customer service are critical skills youve demonstrated over your career.
