Assistant Project Manager

Our client is a privately owned company who have 7 offices globally. They specialise in supplying and installing bespoke partitions to Tier 1/2 Builders across NSW.
They are growing and have a strong pipeline of work and therefore looking for an Assistant PM to join their team.
They have a close knit team and this is a great opportunity to join a growing business and progress your career. 


Responsibilities for this role include;
 

• Prepare project file after handover
• Review and negotiate lead times with sub-contractors
• Coordinate and arrange delivery programme with client
• Attend project sites daily to monitor progress
• Provide product technical advice to sub-contractors to maintain a high quality of installation standard
• Be responsible for scope of works and ensure client variation orders are captured and managed within internal guidelines
• Prepare and issue project reports

To be considered for this role the ideal candidate will have the following;  

• Have an aptitude for executing solutions to technical issues that may arise
• Good interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of commercial interior fit outs
• Superior communication skills
• Excellent documentation skills
