ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to recent growth and expansion we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Foreman/Leading Hand to join our rapidly growing Australian operation. The purpose of your position is to coordinate construction works on site on time without defects and within budget.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Coordination of sub-contractors and liaison with Joinery and Set-Out Teams, maintain a high standard of workmanship quality by minimising defects, compliance with whs standards to maintain a clean and safe workplace. Providing excellent customer service throughout the project, managing variations and staff management.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Trade qualification – certificate in shopfitting
- Construction Industry Basic Induction – blue card
- Builders Licence or Supervisors Licence with the BSA
- Minimum 5 years experience in the construction industry, ideally shopfitting
- Understanding of the building and construction industry (BCA)
- Experience in providing excellent customer and public service
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
- Experience in industry OHS requirements
