This position supports the local administration & delivery of LAHC’s maintenance contract in Coffs Harbour
Your new company
Our client who is a government organisation based in Coffs Harbour is looking for a Program Officer to support the local administration and delivery of LAHC maintenance contract.
Your new role
- Develop, implement and manage a planned program of maintenance by analysing Property
Assessment Survey (PAS) data. - Provide both proactive and effective contract administration through the development of office
estimates including attend on site and supporting negotiations with contractors in
relation to quotations. - Ensure that works are appropriately delivered and that strategies and action plans are put in
place to rectify work issues where applicable. - Develop scopes of work for exceptional internal activities and statutory and regulatory items
such as disability modifications. - Ensure compliance with Building Code of Australia, LAHC standards, policies and Contract
Guidelines when issuing work to contractors.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience dealing with planned maintenance projects
- Good understanding of building practices and codes
- Good project management skills
- Experience managing sub contractors
- Good PC skills
- Good communication skills
