Your new company
A Not-for-Profit Organisation, committed to improving the community, is seeking a Building Project Manager to deliver a range of end-to-end refurbishment projects up to $3m in value.
Your new role
In this role you will be required to:
- Oversee refurbishment and redevelopment projects to buildings
- Complete feasibility studies and scoping of works
- Develop and adhere to budgets
- Tender - write documents and evaluate tenders
- Engage with Consultants and contractors
- Review documentation
- Oversee construction
- Manage stakeholder expectations to align with project scope
- Manage defects and liability periods
What you'll need to succeed
To experience success in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in completing end to end capital works building programs. You must also:
- Possess excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Have a customer-driven mindset to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Have the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Provide clear advice on project status/planning
- Be approachable and willing to collaborate effectively with others
- Have a technical qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related field
- Have demonstrated experience in managing multiple capital works building projects, ideally within a Government or NFP environment.
