Based on-site in Pyrmont and reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will lead a team of Supervisors  and be responsible for the coordination of Corrective & Preventative maintenance work at The Star.

Duties

• Provide leadership and direction with regard to the operational aspects of the Facilities operations
• Manage staff and assist the Facilities Manager and Administration Manager to complete all people planning requirements including, recruitment, training, development and performance management
• Manage the respective Supervisors, to ensure Preventative & Corrective Maintenance Repairs are programmed and scheduled through the Maximo Asset Management System
• Oversee the implementation of daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual preventative maintenance programs (e.g. Maintenance of all plant and equipment including engineering services, exterior areas etc.)
• Co-ordinate recovery operations in the event of emergencies such as fires and power failures

Skills and Experience 

• Engineering or Facility Management tertiary qualifications
• Experience in a Facility Management role within a similar large complex
• Demonstrated experience leading a large and diverse team
• An understanding of Australian Standards and Building Code of Australia
• Experience preparing and managing OPEX/CAPEX budgets
