Residential Estimator/ Contracts Administrator

Due to continued growth and new projects being secured, we are currently seeking an experienced person for the position of Residential Estimator/ Contracts Administrator to join our team.

To be successful in this dynamic role you will need to possess the expertise to manage both estimation and contracts administration whilst being tech savvy to utilise our chosen building software. You will use your residential building knowledge to ensure all projects meet our target building margins as well as client budget.

We are looking for a person who not only helps the business to deliver exceptional projects but also possess effective communication skills to engage with all external consultants in a way that fosters positive relationships and helps create high-performance outcomes for the company.

Reporting directly to the Building Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Liaise and negotiate contract prices and conditions with trades and suppliers
  • Sales estimating
  • Sales Proposals
  • Production Estimating
  • Contract Documents
  • Monitoring overall financial performance of projects
  • Overseeing contractual correspondence from project inception to completion
  • Ensure projects are all correctly costed within the set turn around times
  • Arrange take off quantities and quotations
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and the team

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​To be considered for this opportunity the candidate must meet the following minimum requirements: 

  • Must have a minimum 5 years' experience in an estimating role within the residential construction market with strong longevity in previous roles
  • High attention to detail and strong communication skills 
  • Formal qualifications in Building and Construction Diploma OR a Construction Management Degree
  • Highly experienced trade or construction background would also be considered
