Burton Contractors has been successful in securing two RMS contracts. Both projects will deliver a combination of road widening and intersection upgrades within Sydney's South West.
We are now seeking an experienced Community Liaison Officer (CLR) with previous infrastructure experience to deliver a range of community relations and stakeholder engagement activities across both projects.
The CLR will be responsible for the engagement of our external stakeholders, maintaining and developing strong working relationships of the local residents as well as the wider community impacted by the construction activities including answering any questions and addressing any concerns.
Ideally, you will have experience in the implementation of communication and engagement programs, preparation and development of program communication materials such as media releases and managing conversations mitigating or limiting any risk to the construction of the project.
The successful candidate:
- RMS experience
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Highly effective planning, organising and problem-solving skills
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with all project stakeholders
- Ability to prioritise and work effectively in a busy working environment
- thrive in a high-pressure environment and deliver within tight deadlines.
