The Position
We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team of bright minds and warm hearts. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination and monitoring with regards to project activities throughout the hospital, ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with agreed timeframes, costs, safety and quality objectives.
Day to day duties for this role will include (but not be limited to):
- Coordinate activities, resources, equipment and information in relation to all current FSPH projects
- Liaise with the project Managers to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
- Assist with the preparation of project proposals, timeframes, schedules and budget
- Assist Managers to monitor and track their project progress
- Issue all appropriate legal paperwork for projects, and create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
- Document and report any issues as they arise and escalate to management as needed
The Person
Key Selection Criteria for this position includes:
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Project, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Sound working knowledge of project management methodologies
- Demonstrated knowledge of change management principles
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management
- Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering complex projects and work programs aligned with the business objectives
- Demonstrated experience with the application of project management methodologies in all phases of projects from commencement to completion
- Previous experience working as a safety professional demonstrating an understanding of safety principles, policies and procedures (desirable but not mandatory)
