Pine Design Truss and Timber are one of Adelaide's leading and most recognised building supply companies within the South Australian building sector, supplying Adelaide's largest builders for more than 40 years. Pine Design is currently seeking the services of a Timber Truss Designer to learn and assist in the functions of Timber Truss Design, Estimating & Detailing.

Based in our head office at Dry Creek, Adelaide South Australia, the key functions of the role will include, but are not limited to:

• Interpret plans to complete design & quoting of trusses.
• Communicate with customers and builders to obtain relevant information to enable a valid quote to be completed.
• Drawing of layouts and details in CAD or CAD based software.
• Undergo training in use of Multinail Cornerstone program to perform estimating duties. (Previous experience in CAD based software is advantagous).
• Undergo training in use of the systems and processes adopted by Pine Design Truss & Timber.

The successful applicant is expected to exhibit the following attributes:

• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong mathematical skills
• Superior communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise
• Proficient Computer Skills in Microsoft Office suite, Excel, Outlook
• A good understanding of CAD based engineering software.
• Professional & friendly telephone manner
• High level problem solving skills & the ability to show initiative.
• A positive can do attitude, dedication to the highest level of customer service & quality is a must!
