Total Refractory Management (TRM) provides quality management, leadership and innovative refractory solutions across a broad range of industries in Australia and Internationally.
In light of our continued growth, we are seeking experienced Refractory Supervisors who are able to travel and willing to be part of the team. This position is Brisbane based at our Slacks Creek office.
Applicants with the below attributes will be considered:
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervision of skilled and un-skilled refractory installation employees
- Hand-on installation of various refractory linings across many industries
- Planning and implementation of various refractory works
- Complete HSE and QA documentation as required
- Promote and expand the business through a professional work ethic
- Liaise with clients and sub-contractors
Skills & Experience Required
- Extensive background in the refractory industry, with former supervisory experience highly regarded
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Focused and passionate about the refractory industry
- Sound technical knowledge, preferably with a bricklaying or construction background, with refractory experience highly regarded
- Programming and planning skills
- Computer literate
- Not be afraid to get your hands dirty
- Fit and healthy
- Rights to work within Australia (essential)
- Friendly and pleasant nature whilst possessing the ability to display a no-nonsense attitude when required
- Capable of motivating their team members to fulfill the project at a high quality and in a timely manner
- Interested in being a long-term member of our team.
