The Company
My client are a dynamic, ambitious custom home builder who set up the business three years ago off the back of other successful companies in the group. Backed by Directors who have operated in the Home Building market for over 25 years. Specialising in the design and construction of custom homes from $900k - $1.4m, they work closely with their clients through the entire process from concept, design, selection and construction.
They pride themselves in attention to detail which allows them to deliver top quality homes. Their skills and experience allow them to deliver work across a variety of architectural styles, with scales ranging from large master plans through to the intricate detailing of smaller projects.
The Role
Due to continued growth, a newly created role exists for an experienced Work Flow Coordinator to join the team.
Reporting into the Operations Manager, working within a close knit and encouraging team environment, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of professional customers, liaising with them from pre-construction through to settlement of their new home.

The Role
Due to continued growth, a newly created role exists for an experienced Work Flow Coordinator to join the team.
Reporting into the Operations Manager, working within a close knit and encouraging team environment, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of professional customers, liaising with them from pre-construction through to settlement of their new home.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Liaising with the clients throughout the entire pre-construction and construction process regarding the status of their home
- Preparation of correspondence and contracts
- Entering new sales into the system daily
- Attend weekly meeting to ensure that workflows are being adhered to and you are up to date with products and services
- Collation of information required for permits
- Organise surveys and lodge DA/CDC
- Preparation of all documentation and approvals required to start construction
- Ensuring procedures and checklists are established and following full compliance
- Providing administrative support to the construction department as needed
- Liaising with departments to clarify progress or issues raised by clients and other departments
- Prepare handover packs
- Provide excellent customer service at all times while maintaining a 'sense of urgency'
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience working in a similar role for a project / custom home builder is a MUST
- Knowledgeable of building terminology and site related issues
- Ability to autonomously work under tight timelines with excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build a quick rapport
- High level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to all tasks undertaken
- Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook computer skills and exposure working with database systems
- A proactive "can do" attitude with inspirational leadership abilities
