Your Role 
They are now seeking a Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager, this would suit a Junior Contract Administrator or Interior Designer with a background within the construction / Design environment - Looking to move into client side project management world!
 
In your new role you will be assisting the Director, in supporting him and his team with contract administration, assistant project management, and ad-hoc duties. This is a fantastic opportunity to take that step into client side project management and develop a long term stable career with some of the best people within the business - They offer a fast track career progression route, with extensive training. 
 
Your role will quickly develop and you will be liaising, delivering and managing the client, managing internal and external reports, working with the client in design management, sub consultants, head contractor, ensuring all is delivered to exceptional standards. 
 
 
Your responsibilities
 
  • Supporting the Director & Project Managers in different areas of project management application - both broad and specialised
  • Supporting the Director & Project Managers to manage project scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, procurement and integration to achieve client and project objectives
  • Be an ambassador for the company and promote the interest and reputation whilst working closely with the Director
  • Assist the Project Managers and Procurement Lead with procurement activities and contract formation for major packages
 
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A tertiary degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Project Management, Construction Management or Property Development.
  • At least 1 year post graduate experience as a Interior Designer, Contract Administrator or Assistant Project Manager delivering building construction projects within Australia. 
  • Sound understanding of overall construction programmes and plans
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with a can-do attitude with excellent interpersonal and consultative skills with the ability to manage and maintain excellent client relationships.
