My client is a National Store Developer. To meet the continuing demand of store openings, store refurbishments and projects, we are recruiting for a Project Manager to join the in house team.

This role reports to the Property Director and will be responsible for the planning, feasibility, construction and opening processes for new stores as well as store refurbishments, with involvement throughout all aspects of the project life cycle. The ideal candidate should be confident, dedicated and have strong leadership characteristics.
  
Key Criteria

• Current knowledge of Australian Standards, Building Codes and other local area requirements
• Ability to interpret detailed plans and specifications to determine accuracy
• Knowledge of OH&S and environmental principles
• Degree qualifications in Building, Design, Architecture or Project Management

Experience Required   

• Project coordination experience in the retail or construction industry
• Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent retail projects
• A sound administration background, including exposure to contract management
• Strong experience within the building industry in retail or commercial projects
• Experience in Project Management Methodology

Responsibilities – Job Description   

• Responsible for delivering multiple projects from pre-construction through to defect liability period
• Delivering projects to the highest standard of quality and timeliness
• Provide team leadership to your project team
• Assist with due diligence and feasibilities
• Assist with the town planning coordination
• Review documentation for consistency and accuracy
• Manage the tender process - assessing/reviewing and making recommendations
• Managing construction process including handover coordination with vendor/lessor, managing sub consultant team and defect liabilities
• Attend all site meetings, review and make recommendations on RFI’s and variations
• Assist in the final cost reconciliation

In return you will  receive a competitive package to include; salary, super and fully expensed company car. Base salary range starts at $92,000 pa.
