As the prime gateway to South Australia, Adelaide Airport (AAL), through its state of the art facilities, is focused on providing over 8 million passengers annually with efficient, comfortable and world-class services. To achieve strategic goals and deliver on an exciting master plan, a multi-disciplinary project team is in place to deliver effective and timely project management and stakeholder management processes.
Due to organic growth within the Planning and Infrastructure Team, an exciting and essential role is available for an experienced Project Manager. Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, the Project Manager is accountable for the management and successful delivery of a range of multi-disciplined greenfield and brownfield projects which form part of a large programme of works.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Manage specified projects to achieve quality, program and budget outcomes;
- Design management and co-ordination of consultants, contractors and stakeholders
- Programming of projects
- Contracts management and financial control
- Project governance and reporting
- Ensure all building works comply with Airports Act and AAL requirements;
- Understand, work within and contribute to all Company policies and procedures;
- Other duties and projects as required;
- Embed Customer Service in attitudes and actions;
The successful applicant will require:
- Project management experience in a commercial building environment
- Experience with end-to-end project development and asset maintenance services
- A relevant architectural, engineering, project management or construction qualification
- Skill with effective contracts management and financial control
- Sound decision making and problem solving abilities
- Demonstrated interpretation of regulations and standards
- A current and clean drivers licence
- Experience in managing multiple projects in an operating environment
- Experience in design management and co-ordination of consultants, contractors and stakeholders
- Both people and project leadership abilities
