About the business
Here at King's we are constantly growing! With a large loyal customer base of DIY'ers and Tradies we provide service second to none. Our trade distrubution is our largest operation and with a fleet of 12 trucks we deliver anywhere in the greater Sydney area and beyond!
About the role
Our Yard Hand position entails working in a fast paced environment to suit our builders needs!
Our Yardies are a key component to our business as they ensure the final step to customer satisfaction!
This involves
- Picking and packing orders
- Unloading / Loading trucks
- Operating machinery such as forklifts and strappers
- Liasing with the trade manager in terms of ensuring goods are ready etc for deliveries
- Maintaining stock and ensuring it's strapped and wrapped if necessary.
- Learning about timber / building products to further sell / advise customers on.

Skills and experience
Experience is not needed however is highly desirable. However a good character is a must have.
The following skills/ qualifications are desirable
- Forklift License / Experience
- Building industry knowledge or experience
- Labouring experience
- Customer interaction experience
If you do not have a forklift license you will need to obtain one either before or during employment with Kings. This is to be discussed between the applicant and King's.
